Germany Says No To Nuclear

In response to intense public pressure after the Japanese nuclear disaster, the Bundestag has voted to shut down all nuclear power plants in Germany by 2022.  Those plants now provide 23% of Germany's electric power, and the country will have to increase use of fossil fuels, buy more electricity from neighboring countries, or get very serious about renewable energy sources.
