The Military Budget Will Fall

Though some very well paid lobbyists will fight tooth and nail, we can expect to see major cuts in military spending in the next few years according to Robert Dreyfuss, Contributing Editor to The Nation.  A tidal wave in three parts will make the difference:  the politics of debt and deficit reduction, the economic crisis, and general war weariness among the public.  Even Alan Simpson and the "Catfood Commission" called for serious cuts.  A good article.
