The 1% Strike In Montgomery County

Keep taxes low on the homes of the 1%!   The Commissioners are considering a massive cut in social services to preclude any increase in real estate taxes.  Never mind that county property taxes are the lowest of any municipality in the region.  Never mind that the proposal would drastically cut libraries, parks, community college, and other services.  The important thing is to keep those taxes low.  The Commissioners will meet to discuss these plans On Wednesday, December 7, at 10am.  Citizens should make every effort to attend.  Here's the county's press release.
