Dark Money In Political Campaigns

Tom Edsall had a great deal to say yesterday about the cancerous proliferation of 501(c)3's, 501(c)4's, and so forth.  They claim tax exempt status (and are shocked, shocked when the IRS questions that) and pour money into political campaigns.  We think the American Anti-corruption Act would help clean this up.  See www.represent.us.  Click the link and read this NY Times Opinionator piece.
