Michael Moore On Wall Street

Michael Moore came to Wall Street and talked to the protesters.  He said that thousands, maybe millions, of Americans were behind them, and their small start reminded him of the Stonewall action that started the gay rights movement.  This is an inspired piece of writing.

    The "human microphone" protocol, in which each clause by the speaker is repeated by the audience, seems to serve several purposes. It makes sure everyone can hear what is being said even without forbidden bullhorns. It discourages speeches that are rambling or gassy. It gets everyone in the crowd to listen.
