Last month the Oshkosh Corporation in Wisconsin told 450 employees they would be laid off because of decreasing demand for military products used in Iraq and Afghanistan.  The head of Wisconsin Peace Action wrote this op-ed piece on how to shift jobs to a more stable peacetime footing.
