Everyone is telling us how important small business is - the mom & pop stores that generate jobs. This Inquirer article begs to differ, and it makes a good deal of sense.

This undermines the Republican talking point about raising taxes on the small business owners making $250,000. Now we know that those additional taxes will have a minimal effect on new job creation. Somehow, the Republicans have abandoned the economic arguments in favor of denying birth control to women. How about denying coverage for viagara, since it causes so many men to impregnate underage/single women? The cultural debate is headed for a ridiculous result, with Santorum arguing about whose theological worldview is acceptable.
